Merge PDF

Combine several PDFs into one file in the order you choose. Merging happens in your browser, so confidential documents are never uploaded.

Runs in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded.

How to use the Merge PDF

  1. Choose two or more PDF files (you can add more later).
  2. Put them in the right order with the arrows.
  3. Select Merge and download the combined PDF.

How merging works

The PDFs are read in your browser with pdf-lib, and every page is copied — with its text, fonts, images and links — into a new document in the order you chose. Pages aren't re-rendered or re-compressed, so quality is exactly the same as the originals.

Private by design

Merging contracts, bank statements or ID documents on a website usually means uploading them. Here nothing is uploaded: the merge happens on your device and the result is created in your browser's memory.

Frequently asked questions

Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

Page content, links and annotations are copied. The document outline (bookmarks) and interactive form fields of the original files are not merged.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

No. Remove the password in a PDF reader first, then merge.

Is there a limit?

Each file can be up to 300 MB. Very large merges depend on your device's memory.

Are my files uploaded?

No. This tool reads and processes files directly in your web browser. Nothing is sent to Expensico's servers, and the data is discarded when you close or reload the page.
